Folding cardboard boxes in treasure chest shape with curved top
Like a treasure chest, the box is opened from above, which presents the contents attractively. The curved shape of the lid gives the boxes the appearance of a chest. An additional flap from the front gives the chest box a nice front edge and also reinforces the bottom of the box.
Chest boxes are often used for:
On the bottom, the boxes can be equipped with a plug-in bottom or an automatic bottom, as required. The plug-in base is useful for short runs, whereby the automatic base is used for heavy products due to the higher stability and large runs when very fast assembly is important.
Basically the construction of the chest boxes is very simple and takes only a few seconds.
The proportions of the chest box are not completely free. The box can therefore not be constructed too narrow or too high. But as long as you stay in actual chest shapes, that's not a problem. The curvature of the lid can also be slightly adjusted in radius or provided with additional grooves.
Just let us know your desired dimensions and we will be happy to create a free test sample for you.
In addition, it is possible to equip the boxes with cut-outs, foil windows, embossings, interior separations or other inserts. We would also be happy to advise you on the many possibilities by telephone.
When designing the chest box, it is particularly important to note that the upper curved flap is partially visible from 3 sides. If you concentrate only on the front, the part stands on the part of the lid that can be seen from the back on the head.
By printing on boards, buckles, locks or metal straps, the impression of a chest can be additionally reinforced.
Since an additional flap folds in from the front, the front can also be printed inside and the bottom inside at no extra cost.
Especially for toys or giveaways, the floor is an attractive additional information medium.
