Cutting-edge systems for high-spec jobs: Ebro Color opts for Anicolor technology
Small, profitable runs at high quality with Anicolor inking technology from Heidelberg
Albstadt, August 2011: As managing director of Ebro Color GmbH, I place my trust in brand quality from well-established firms. We are the first German packaging manufacturer to bring the benefits of Heidelberg’s Anicolor technology to both our company and clients, and have been doing so since installation in January 2010. The key advantage for our clients – and in particular companies who come to us with small print jobs – is that we can now offer them small runs (> 500 units) which not only fulfill the highest in color specifications, but are also a profitable option due to shorter machine set-up times.
The fact that Anicolor inking technology leads to extensive standardization and automation of the printing process – as well as a wide range of options – makes us especially competitive when it comes to small print runs.
Equipped for all scenarios
Two highly efficient Heidelberg Speedmaster printing machines cover a wide range of job sizes and types. Small runs from 500 units upwards are processed on a Speedmaster SM 52-5 with Anicolor inking and emulsion coating units. Our Speedmaster CD 74 -5+L is the ideal machine for runs of 20,000 units and above.
Our ability to process small runs enables us to give companies a flexible option when trialing products, for example. Trial periods allow them to fully analyze the effect of the packaging on their customers before finalizing the design and going ahead with a larger run.
We move with the times
As a specialist provider of folding and telescope boxes, we have kept pace with change in the business environment and now primarily market our packaging solutions via the internet. In order to cope with all enquiries quickly and appropriately, Ebro Color has developed around 200 standardized enquiry forms.
This enables us to not only accurately identify what each client requires, but also communicate with them in a clear, targeted way. We are naturally also contactable by telephone – after all, technology is no substitute for direct contact between client and manufacturer.
